Europe's best young surfers are coming to Munich

On September 19, 2026, the Rip Curl GromSearch will hold its European Final at O₂ SURFTOWN MUC for the first time. After five stops at some of Europe’s most famous surf spots, the season’s best young surfers will face off in Munich.
Get ready for high-performance surfing, young talent from all over Europe, and exciting heats on our wave.

Your way to us

As the available parking spaces are limited, we recommend traveling by public transport.

  • Public transportation
    The O2 SURFTOWN MUC can be easily reached using public transport from the Munich Transport and Tariff Association (MVV). From Munich Central Station or Ostbahnhof, take the S8 to the Hallbergmoos stop. The journey from Marienplatz to Hallbergmoos takes around 30 minutes. From there, the 692 bus will take you to us in just 10 minutes.


  • Parking lots
    During the Rip Curl GromSearch you can park on the large meadow directly in front of the O2 SURFTOWN MUC (Lilienthalstraße 12, 85399 Hallbergmoos).

    Please note: Some of the surrounding parking lots are private and may not be used.
