Kids at the Peak
Participation of children under the age of 11 in peak sessions
Children under the age of 11 may take part in our Peak Sessions (Level: Progressive, Intermediate & Advanced) if the following requirements are met:
For the participation we need:
- Proof of the silver swimming badge (or an equivalent qualification)
- A signed declaration of consent from the parent or legal guardian
Safety & responsibility
Our top priority is a safe and responsible surfing experience for all participants. To ensure this, we reserve the right to exclude children from the session if:
- they repeatedly fail to paddle into waves on their own (benchmark: 3 missed waves)
- they cannot paddle out of potential danger zones independently and quickly (e.g. after take-off)
- they endanger themselves or others in the lineup
These measures serve the safety of all surfers in the water and are always implemented responsibly and with sensitivity.
Visibility & briefing zones
Children under the age of 11 wear colored Lycra shirts for better visibility:
- Pink for briefing zone right
- Orange for briefing zone left
This enables our coaches to react quickly and provide the best possible support at all times.
Check-in & Documentation
Please bring the signed declaration of consent with you to the session and show it at check-in. Participation is only possible with complete documentation.
