Our pre-opening will start on the 27th of July 2024 and will last until the 9th of August 2024. In this period, all pre-sale package buyers will have the exclusive opportunity to surf the waves at O₂ SURFTOWN MUC. 

At O₂ SURFTOWN MUC we offer surfing 7 days per week. Daily opening hours may differ depending on the season, but during summer, we plan to offer surf sessions from 7am to 11pm.

During the pre opening our opening hours may vary and are updated on a daily base. You can find the opening hours for the current day here.

You can surf at O₂ SURFTOWN MUC all year round. However, there may be temporary closures due to maintenance work or extended periods of frost in the winter season.

Surfing is an outdoor sport and can take place in any weather. However, in extreme weather situations, like thunderstorms or frost, surfing may be suspended for safety reasons.

During the pre-opening, we plan to offer all regular surf sessions in beginner mode, as well as A-frame mode. All surf areas such as wave pool, changing rooms and toilets are also available. However, there will still be restrictions during the pre-opening phase in the surf operation environment (including rental and shop) and in our catering services. Part of our outdoor facilities might still be under construction during the pre-opening, but this no have any impact on  surf operations. 

Our surf shop and our restaurant area, including the bar and terrace with the best view of the surf action, are accessible to all visitors for free.

The restaurant, bar, and terrace are open to the public. Here, you can enjoy our modern gastronomy, which offers a wide selection of international dishes while experiencing a true holiday feeling with front row seats to the surf action.

Dogs are only allowed in our surf center (check-in, surf shop and restaurant area). However, for safety reasons, they must be supervised and leashed.

Yes - you can park your car in our parking lot for a maximum of 48 hours.

The first 10 minutes of parking are free of charge - parking for up to 2 hours costs 2 Euros, for every additional hour we charge 1 Euro. 

We also offer 14 large parking spaces for camper vans with optional power supply. 

On our parking lot, we offer 14 spaces to park with your camper overnight, including power supply. Please note that a reservation in advance is not possible but these slots are only available if free on the day of arrival. However, if there are no free camping spaces available it you will find alternative accommodation options in the surrounding area. These include campsites and hotels.

O₂ SURFTOWN MUC is located in Hallbergmoos, north of Munich, in close proximity to the airport and is easily accessible by all means of transport. On top we are currently developing a concept including more options of easy transport from Munich and its surrounding areas.

Yes, elevators are available to make all areas of the O₂ SURFTOWN MUC barrier-free and wheelchair accessible.
